Hello! I am a Research Scientist in the Computational and Urban Sciences Group at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). My primary research interest is development of data-driven methods to understand human behavior both within and outside transportation.
Prior to this, I worked as an assistant professor at Pennsylvania State University and Old Dominion University. and as a transportation consultant in the Civil Engineering firm Parsons Brinckerhoff. I obtained my doctoral degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin (UT) in 2012. Before coming to UT, I graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2008 with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
